Todd Jones

Senior Pastor: Todd Jones

Before coming to the North Lake UMC, Pastor Todd has served as a youth pastor, children’s pastor, worship/music pastor and most recently as a senior pastor at churches in California, New York and Ohio. While serving in these positions, he also taught at various Christian schools teaching subjects such as music, technology, and Bible as well as being in a contemporary Christian band for eight years.

Pastor Todd has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Point Loma University in San Diego, CA, a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix and has finished the pastoral course of study through the Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He is married to Cheryl and together they have five children. Cheryl has three sons: Kevin, CJ and Austin and Todd has a daughter and a son: Caitlyn and Brady. Cheryl and Todd enjoy spending time with family and friends, spending time outdoors, enjoying the Wolverine/Buckeye rivalry and going to a good movie.

Children/Youth Ministry Coordinator:  Diane Tandy

As a newlywed Dianne was welcomed into the North Lake UMC family and has been a member for over thirty years.  In these years, she has had the opportunity to serve on various committees and has also have taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Puppet Team Ministry, and served as a youth leader with her husband. In 2014, Dianne retired from Stockbridge Community Schools after more than twenty-five years in the classroom.  For education, Dianne has completed a Masters Degree in the area of Early Childhood Education from Eastern Michigan University.  Diane’s interests and hobbies include:  reading, exercising, traveling, and playing clarinet in the Dexter Community Band.

Diane has been serving as our Children/Youth ministry coordinator since September of 2015.
