Trish Farrell, Lead Pastor
A Beacon of Inspiration
Pastor Trisha A. Farrell was appointed by Bishop Bard as Lead Pastor on July 1 ,2024 to North Lake United Methodist Church.
Pastor Trish has been in ministry since she was 19 years old. She has served through missionary work, camping, children and student ministry and has a BA in Theology.
In 2022, she answered God’s call to pastoral leadership and graduated with her Masters of Divinity from United Theological Seminary in May 2025.
She has a genuine heart for families, community service, and impactful worship. Pastor Trish is a single mom of three young adults, all adopted from foster care.
As a family, they love to travel, attend Christian concerts, active in Special Olympics, and spend summers on the pontoon at the lake!
She enjoys reading, painting, biking, and Detroit Red Wing hockey.
Pastor Trish loves serving the North Lake community and enjoys the Chelsea area.

Church Leadership
North Lake UMC is governed by a one-board leadership style made up of five members, elected by the congregation annually, plus non-voting pastor. The meetings are held monthly and led by a Chairperson.
The support staff at North Lake UMC consists of an administrative assistant, custodian, and pianist.
